Huffy Basketball Systems


Huffy basketball systems are marketed by Huffy Sports, which is now a division of Spalding. Huffy offers in ground and portable basketball systems.

Huffy 61259 InstaHoop TM costs about $160. The system is easy to assemble. It has these features:
1. 44" Eco composite backboard
2. Easy height adjustment from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6 inch increments
3. 5/8" solid steel rim
4. Three piece round pole
5. Portable base can be filled with water or sand for stability


Portable Huffy basketball systems with a 44" Steel Frame cost about $210. Features are:
1. 44" polycarbonate backboard
2. Solid steel breakaway rim with an all weather net
3. Height adjustment with one hand from 7.5 to 10 feet
4. Base can be filled with water or sand for stability
5. Built in holders for ball, wallet and other items
6. Three piece round pole

Huffy 48" Steel Frame Backboard systems cost about $315.

The in ground Huffy/Spalding 88608 model costs about $450-650. Features include:
1. 48" x 36" aluminum framed acrylic backboard with a 3/8 inch thick acrylic sheet
2. Height adjustment from 7 to 10 feet
3. Breakaway rim with wrap around support
4. All weather net
5. One piece 4 inch round pole
